Basically what I’ve learned for the past 17 years. Enjoy.
I think it’s finally time for an updated night skincare routine, after experimenting and reusing products that I have neglected, I think I’m going to stick with this skincare routine for a while now. So without further ado, let’s get into it.
If I’m being totally honest, I always have random knick knacks in my purse almost everyday, that could be from receipts to candy wrappers. But who am I to blame? I cleaned out my purse and left the things that I always need.
I have received multiple compliments for my purse, either they love the style or the fringes so I wanted to share what designer this bag is. This is a Stella Mccartney purse, I have had it for quite some time now, still in good condition and shape. Even though it is quite small, it fits almost everything I need.
I can never go anywhere without my wallet, sometimes we would be driving around and would end up in a plaza. My parents would ask if I wanted to go and shop but I can’t, number one, I don’t have my cards with me. I like to pay for myself, especially when signing I just feel so much older. Number two, I have to have my member ID’s.
I got my wallet two to three years ago for my birthday, it’s Prada (If you couldn’t tell already) and it’s camo. I have also received a lot of lovely comments for my wallet and it always makes me so happy.
I need my travel size perfumes, or as my brain likes to say, “Portable Perfumes”. These are such an essential if you love going to restaurants, because I almost always leave the restaurant smelling like I was cooking the food. A few sprays of this and I’m good to go.
I get my “Portable Perfumes” from Victoria’s Secret. They have a ton of amazing scents and great deals for them too. This scent is called Exotic. You know that I live for packaging, and this one is definitely a 10/10.
If you’re in a car with two screaming brothers, then you need ear or head phones. I do not recommend getting from Target because quality does not reach my expectations. I still stick with them anyway because I only use them for the car.
I use these from listening to my friend’s weird voice messages, to watching fail Instagram videos. (I’m addicted.) Speaking of Instagram, make sure you go and follow me on there, currently trying to fix my feed and theme so don’t mind the mess. (@thechicommunity)
Cold or no cold, I have to carry around some lip balm(s). I carry around two because why not, one for the sun (It has SPF 50) and the EOS lip balm. In my opinion I think the stick ones work way better than the original ball ones.
I got the one with the SPF 50 from Anthropologie, and the EOS from Target. (My home). I was mindlessly putting on 50 layers of the EOS lip balm, total waste, don’t do that.
That is it for today’s post, hope you have a great Sunday and I’ll see you on Tuesday!
I usually don’t carry a lot of stuff in my bag, I only like to carry things that I know I will be needing throughout the day. My first thought when picking out a purse is, “Will it match with every outfit I wear?” I am a very lazy person so I usually have this bag ready to go on my vanity chair.
First up is my wallet, I have to have it with me at all times. You never know when a cute store just comes out of no where and you want to buy everything. My wallet is from Prada, and I think I got it for my birthday a couple of years ago.
I have two packs of gum, one of the packs only has like one piece left. Gotta carry gum everywhere with me, who knows I’ll bump into someone I know right after I ate garlic bread. My go to gum is the 5 gum. All the flavors are amazing. I love the green and blue colors the most.
While still on the subject of fresh and clean, I like to carry around my hand sanitizer they’re usually from Bath and Body works. The current one that I’m using is Vampire Blood. Smells nothing like Vampire Blood though, smells more like strawberries.
I don’t know about you guys but when I wash my hands or use the hand sanitizer, my hands always get dry. So I have been using Hand Food by Soap and Glory, loving this product so far, it really does what its supposed to do.
Always gotta carry around oil blotting sheets, especially during the summer. I have talked about this one too many times on this blog so I’m not going to go into too much depth but this is my life saver. I get mine from Sephora, I like the original ones, not those new colorful shiny ones.
Last but certainly not least I have my lip balm. During the winter I think everyone can relate that our lips tend to get dry, and it’s not the g=best thing in the world. I am not a huge fan of the EOS sphere balms, but the EOS stick lip balms work amazing. I don’t know what’s the difference, but the stick ones in my opinion work way better.
Thank you for reading, hope you enjoyed. All the love.
Follow me on:
i recently did a vanity tour (part 1) and i told you guys it’s going to be divided in parts, there is also one part which i will upload next week.
this is the desk area part, i usually just put my medicine on that part. at the top, i have a couple of pictures, some mints that i don’t take, and perfumes that don’t fit where i usually put them.
this first drawer is where i put things that i don’t know where to put. i have receipts and jewelry packages, and random stuff.
this is also another drawer where i put things where i don’t know where to put. i have gifts that i got for my birthday, a lot of lip balms, small perfumes, and elastics.
and then the middle one is where i put all my headbands, from aeropostale, or disney, or target. i might do a post dedicated to just headbands. what do you think?
the last drawer is where i put my flat iron and hair dryer, i have talked about them a few weeks back. if you want to check out the post, click here.
thank you for reading, hope you enjoyed. all the love.
about a week ago, i told you guys about the amazing william sonoma’s hot chocolate, the peppermint flavor. yesterday i tried for the first time the salted caramel hot chocolate, and it is the best thing ever. even though its like 100f here. (peppermint hot chocolate)
just like last time, you put a specific amount of milk, and then a specific amount of the powder. the longer you wait, the more thick and creamier it will be. let the milk heat up for a few minutes, make sure you don’t burn it, then add in the powder and stir.
if you are a huge fan of salted caramel, definitely try it out. if you aren’t, you should as well try it out. in my opinion, it wasn’t any difference than just a regular hot chocolate, it just has a bit of salt to it.
thank you for reading, hope you enjoyed. all the love.
i never thought i would do vanity tour, because it’s pretty hard if you think about it. you just have so much stuff to share and a cluster and a mess, but i gained my confidence and i did it. this vanity tour is going to be three parts, because this is too big for just one post.
first up is the desk, i usually put the book i’m reading on this side, closer to my bed. i have this small gold ring holder, and i just place any jewelry that i wear a lot. on top the drawer, there are two ring holders, both from target. and then i have this microphone which i git from bed bath and beyond.
so this drawer contains things that i would usually put in my purse. other than the harmonica. i have my wallet, hand sanitizer, more wallets, portable chargers, receipts and wire holders (?).
so the first drawer, at the bottom of the desk area is a small one. it just contains nail filers, random mirrors, a mood ring, and old tickets. and this brush for a doll.
the middle drawer is quite bigger than the first two drawers, it just has a lot of bags. those bags are great for storing makeup, skincare, jewelry and any other small pieces. i also have programs for shows that my school makes and random cards.
and then the last drawer, the biggest of them all, is the drawer that i like to call, “i don’t want to throw it away but i don’t know where to put it”. this has quite some things, empyty perfume bottles that i like, empty sun glass boxes, perfumes that don’t work at all. i also have some fake glasses, and just some weird sunglasses. so it has some things, and i have a french hat. (don’t know what it’s called)
thank you for reading, hope you enjoyed the first part of this tour. all the love.
