This is going to be a two part review, because Charlotte Tilbury products range from skincare to makeup and I don’t think one blog post is enough to express my love for these products.
If you have never heard of Charlotte Tilbury then here’s a little background information about her;
She is a legendary makeup artist based in the UK, owning her own makeup line, and has been in the industry for over twenty years. She’s known for the thousands of looks that celebrities display in the front cover of magazines.
A couple of months ago, Charlotte Tilbury came to Kuwait to open up her first store there, I was fortunate enough to go and browse through the store and see what the hype is all about. If you follow my instagram then you would’ve seen the pictures I took of the story on my Insta Story (@ thechicommunity) And let’s say that I went a little crazy with all the things that I bought.
This post is mainly going to focus on the two skincare products that intrigued me and that I recommend.
The first product you see here is the Multi-Miracle Glow, it can be used as either a mask or skin cleanser. For the price, around $53, I thought that was great to have multi uses for one expensive product.
You use it as a cleanser by rubbing it all over your face then rinsing it out with water, while the face mask, you apply to a clean face and let it sit then wash it off. Now is the product actually worth it?
Now I personally like the product, it’s easy to use and it’s not that big of a hassle to open up and getting it everywhere. It may be in a really big box but it looks fancy so I’m all about it. I think that if you have the money for it, then I recommend it, but if you’re on a budget then you’re not missing out as much. This does do the job to clean your face and make it all glowy, but there are other products out there that do the exact same thing for a much lower price.
This other product is called Charlotte’s Magic Cream, and I think that it does live up to its name. I have oily skin so I tend to stray away from moisturizers or creamy products because they tend to make my skin more oily than usual. But fortunately enough, this does not do that. With Winter coming around, my skin gets more on the dry side than oily so every year I’m looking for a product that will hydrate my skin yet at the same time matify it and not make it all oily.
If you’re a person like me that struggles to find a good moisturizer even though we really need it, then I highly recommend this. It’s so far the only product that has not disappointed me yet, and I’ve been using it for well over a month. If you’re on a budget, then save up because it’s worth all the $82.
These are products are expensive but they’re all worth it if you ever want to try them out!
