I haven’t done any reviews in a while, but after some hauls, I managed to try something out for more than a week to give you a full and honest review. So without further ado, let’s start with this review.
In my opinion, I think that boscia is famous for their masks, the peel off black masks, that sometimes work great, and sometimes eh. When I tried out that mask, it only made my pores show even more, it did not remove any blackheads. So when I laid my eyes on this cleanser, I didn’t really have high hopes for it, but I needed something to wash my face with since I was constantly changing hotels.
This is what they promise you,
A black charcoal face cleanser that warms on contact and visibly reduces pore size, lifts impurities, bans excess oil, exfoliates, and brightens the complexion.
If you want to know more,
The Detoxifying Black Cleanser creates a smooth, luminous, clarified, and healthy-looking complexion. Brimming with purifying black activated charcoal and vitamin P, the active component in citrus peel, the formula warms skin on contact to open the pores, then lifts away dirt, oil, and impurities to combat acne and blemishes. Artichoke leaf extract visibly minimizes the appearance of enlarged pores instantly and over time by increasing skin elasticity to brighten and tighten the pore wall. Radiance-boosting vitamin C and exfoliating glycolic acid refine skin texture, fade dark spots, and provide antiaging and antioxidant protection. Skin is left looking and feeling smooth, even toned, and glowing.
After reading what they have to say, it sounds convincing right? I’m down for brightening the skin, minimizing pores, and getting rid of oils. So after trying out for two weeks, these are the results I get.
It definitely warms up once it had contact with your skin, not going to lie about that. And it also leaves your skin feeling clean and refreshed… for like 10 minutes. I have oily skin, and this product works for all types of skin types, and when I washed my face using this cleanser, it definitely got rid of the oils from my skin, but not for a long time. I use this at night, before I go to sleep and when I wake up, my skin is still very much so super oily, maybe more than before.
So in the end, I don’t really recommend it. There are other alternatives to cleansers that remove oils from your skin and actually complete the job successfully. I wasn’t that disappointed because at the beginning I never really had high expectations or hopes for this cleanser at all.
