October Favorites

October has been one crazy month for me, the amount of tests and projects I received in one month, like teachers need to take a chill pill. October was the month for me to reuse or rediscover old things that I have bought and used for a little but then left it in a deep dark hole.

One of my favorites has to be this book written by my favorite author, Cassandra Clare. She just now (aka like 7 months ago) released a new series called The Dark Artifices. I won’t say too much but I definitely recommend it if you have read the Infernal Devices as well as the Mortal Instruments.

Lady Midnight

Lady Midnight is a young adult urban fantasy novel by Cassandra Clare. It is the first book in The Dark Artifices, the third, chronologically fourth series of the Shadowhunter Chronicles

At first I hated this primer, well hate is such a strong word. I disliked it, it was just not my cup of tea. After using it for a while, I realized how light weight it is. It made sure my eyeshadow or my eyeliner budge around or anything. It also really helped to make the eyeshadow pigment much more stronger. I might be comparing this eye primer with something else, maybe just maybe.

If you’ve been following my blog for more than 5 months, then you would know that I did a review over Fresh Farmacy a while back. I kind of neglected it after publishing that post, but this month I used it like crazy. I use this after I come back from school, really helps to remove all that dirt and excess oil from school in the simplest and fastest way possible.

Right after I took this picture, half an hour later I hit pan with the shade ‘Vermeer’. But anyway, I know I have talked about this palette like 5 times now, but I’m just obsessed with it. All the colors are beautiful, you can create any look with it. I always reach out to this palette when I need a transition color, or to just set my eye lid primer.

Last but certainly not least, the Origins Checks and Balances Frothy Face wash, as well I have talked about it before on here. Basically, this will leave your skin feeling amazing. It has that minty smell to it and silvery look to it. I really like it, especially for the night. It’s not too harsh and it’s just perfect for the night to remove excess makeup or oils.

BTW, thank you so much for 700 followers! I honestly didn’t think I would get 20 followers, let alone 700. These past 7 months have been the best and I have met so many lovely people here. All the love and support!
